Nestled on the scenic waterfront of Historic Port Tobacco, Maryland, Port Tobacco Restaurant (PTR) is a celebration of tradition, flavor, and community. Once a thriving colonial port, Port Tobacco played a major role in the trading of tobacco, oysters, and other goods along the Chesapeake Bay. Today, this serene area remains rich in beauty and history—home to tranquil waters and an abundance of wildlife including Blue Herons, Osprey, Eagles, turtles, fish, and countless species of birds. It’s truly a haven for nature lovers and birdwatchers alike.

Born and raised in Southern Maryland, Stephanie and Brendan Beatty are proud Charles County locals with deep roots in the community. As a blended family with seven wonderful children, two beautiful grandchildren, and a handful of beloved fur babies, family is at the heart of everything they do.
Together, Stephanie and Brendan share a passion for hospitality and a love for their hometown. Their mission is simple: to create a welcoming space where community comes first, and every guest leaves with a smile and a satisfied appetite. With a strong commitment to customer service, high-quality food and drinks, and a relaxing waterfront ambiance, they strive to make each visit memorable.
